Assistant Manager, Business Development and Marketing at Al-Sayer Group – Al Kuwait


Job Description

1. Identify new business areas which meet the TOP Management needs and expectations, including: new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products and services – or new ways of penetrating existing markets.2. Evaluate current business performance and risks and potentials for the new business opportunities.3. Identify trendsetter ideas by researching automotive industry locally and internationally and related events, publications, and announcements.4. Conduct research and analysis to identify new markets, competitors promotions activities and customer needs by updating price comparisons for TOP products, competitor’s specifications, Prices and history file, compile periodic reports and variance analysis to be presented to TOP Management.5. Design marketing campaigns to capture sales based on the market conditions and effective targeting of the appropriate customer demographics.6. Build long-term relationships with new, existing and potential customers.7. Draft and review sales contracts as directed by GM, TOP, in coordination with Legal Department ensuring adherence to the company rules and guidelines.8. Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction.9. Represent TOP at trade association meetings in Kuwait, to promote product launches and other corporate events.10. Work closely with various OEMS (Original Equipment Manufacturer) to convert to Yokohama tyres and develop relationship in order to push higher number of Yokohama tyres from the OEM Garages.11. Obtain required municipality approvals in order to facilitate running of new schemes for our various products and create a schedule of promotions.12. Design Social Media campaigns and promote e-business.13. Daily check local newspapers, magazines and websites to search for new competitor’s promotion.14. Visit competitor’s showrooms in order to collect information about new products, market intelligence.15. Prepare monthly competitors promotion activities reports.16. Update monthly the sales evaluation report with competitor’s activities.17. Tabulate and continuously update price comparisons for our products.18. Circulate the reports and findings via e-mail with concerned Managers and Supervisors.19. Update the competitor’s specifications, prices and history file.20. Prepare the new specs sheet for new models of Toyota & Lexus, OEM fitment details.21. Provide marketing teams with the required information they need such as (social media inquiries, website content, new brochure review, new ads review).22. Coordinate new TOP projects with various Government and internal Departments.23. Identify and accomplish statutory government regulations in Arabic.24. Prepare the SWOT analysis for competitors.25. Participate in outdoor displays for TOP Product launches and other corporate events.26. Oversee the implementation of ISO standards in TOP.
