Bihar ITI seat allotment 2021 bceceboard.bihar.gov.in ITICAT allotment result: The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board, known as BCECE or BCECEB, will release the seat allotment in 1st round of counselling for Industrial Training Institute Competitive Admission Test (ITICAT) 2020, for admission to the Industrial Training Institute (ITI) in the state of Bihar on January 29, 2021. According to the official notification, Bihar ITI 1st round provisional seat allotment 2021 will be published online at the official website of the BCECE Board i.e., www.bceceboard.bihar.gov.in. The Bihar ITI or ITICAT counselling had commenced from January 15, 2021 and will conclude on February 14, 2021 with completion of 2nd round. However, 1st round is currently underway and the BCECE will issue the Bihar ITI allotment letter to the candidates from January 29 to February 5, 2021 which they can download from BCECEB website.

The The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECE), also referred to as BCECEB, is conducting this counselling for admission to the ITI trade in the Industrial Training Institutes affiliated to the state government. The admissions are done through seat allotment process further based on the rank obtained by the candidates in the ITICAT exam that was held on December 04, 2020. The result of ITICAT were declared on December 24, 2020. The whole Bihar ITI admission process has been delayed this year owing to the pandemic. The academic year 2020-2022 in ITIs in Bihar will now commence in February 2021. A total of 25,235 seats are on offer for admission in Bihar ITI colleges affiliated with NCVT through ITICAT 2020. Additional 2635 seats are for SMQ and DQ.

After the Bihar ITICAT i.e., Bihar ITI seat allotment result is published on Jan 29, 2021, the candidates who are allotted a seat in the college, have to download the allotment letter and report online/offline at the respective college for completing admission formalities. Those not satisfied with seat allotment in 1st round counselling result, can participate in the 2nd round, however, candidates should read the guidelines related to the seat rejection and admission cancellation in the official notification.

How to check Bihar ITICAT seat allotment result

  • Go to the official website https://bceceboard.bihar.gov.in
  • Click on the notification titled “Important Notice regarding ITICAT 2020- 1st round counselling seat allotment result” displayed on the home page of the website
  • Alternatively, candidates can also go the “Online Counselling portal for ITICAT 2020” to see the notification for seat allotment.
  • Once the seat allotment link is open, ‘candidate login’ page will appear.
  • On the Candidate Login page, first choose the stream as ‘ITI admission counselling’, the enter any of the UGEAC ID/ Roll Number/ UGMAC ID details
  • Your seat allotment result will be displayed on the screen
  • download the seat allotment letter and take printout for further use.
