CTET Teacher Salary (Primary and Secondary)

  • Primary Teacher [PRT] Salary

Candidates getting into the position of primary teacher avails a pay scale of Rs. 9,300 – Rs. 34, 800 with grade pay of Rs. 4,200 and a basic salary of Rs. 13,500. There are other benefits offered to the primary teacher such as house rent allowance, transport allowance, and others. After the 7th pay commission, salary of CTET qualified primary teacher,  has a net salary package ranging from Rs. 35,000 to Rs. 37,000.

  • Trained Graduate Teachers [TGT] Salary

With the same pay scale as the primary teacher, the grade pay for a trained graduate teacher is Rs. 4,600.The basic salary of CTET Qualified teacher who posted as a trained graduate teacher (TGT) is Rs. 17,140 and there are facilities of house rent allowance, transport allowance, and others. The net salary that is gained by the candidate each month is Rs. 43,000 to Rs. 46,000.

  • Post Graduate Teachers [PGT]

The grade pay for the postgraduate teachers is Rs. 4,800 with a basic salary of Rs. 18,150. With the additional facilities of house rent allowance, transport allowance, and others, the candidate draws a net salary of Rs. 46,000 to Rs. 48,000 per month.
